Free Insulation Perth
The Australian Government is planning to have insulation installed in
2.2 millions homes by 2012 as a part of it’s Energy Efficient Homes
Package, announced by Kevin Rudd in February 2009.
The program targets homes that are currently uninsulated, or have very
little ceiling insulation.
The full program is in effect from 1 July 2009 and will run until 31
December 2011.
The Home Insulation Program
The plan offers ceiling insulation worth up to $1,200 to owner-occupiers and landlords of houses currently being rented.
If the total cost of installation is less than $1,200, there will be nothing to pay, otherwise there may be small amount to pay for larger houses.
Most townhouses and top floors of apartment blocks are covered ABSOLUTELY FREE.
BE QUICK BEFORE THE REBATE IS CUT FURTHER.
