Glass wool is the world’s most popular insulation material and the most cost-effective solution to rising energy costs and greenhouse gas emissions.

Glasswool insulation is an excellent insulating material. Glass is not a good conductor of heat and when spun into wool it makes an ideal product to keep you comfortable. Glasswool insulation batts contain millions of air pockets which are able to trap heat and stop the transfer of heat into your home in summer and heat out in winter. Glasswool batts provide the same insulating values summer and winter.

Historically, humans have used seaweed, paper, layers of clothetc to insulate their ceilings. In the last 55 years, the most sustainable and best option was developed, which is glasswool. Glasswool batts are a safe, energy saving barrier to heat entering your home in summer and heat loss in winter and last a lifetime.

Glasswool is manufactured using recycled glass and sand. The raw ingredients are heated so that they form molten glass, then fed into a centriguge which then creates very thin strands of glass and are then arranged into a texture similar to wool.

Glasswool batts are lightweight, flexible and resilient. They have the added benefit of being a great sound absorber and contribute to both the thermal and acoustic comfort of building occupants.
